Children's Day Activities
Though the Esperanza Bonanza festival itself has fun for the whole family, a special time is always dedicated for children to bring
out their parents and grandparents for some good old just for kids fun.  The children's day activities will be held this year on
Saturday, May 7, 2011  from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. near the main stage area.  An entry fee of $10 covers unlimited play on
the features (listed below), entry into the tractor pull contest, as well as a festival t-shirt.  A registration table will be near the main
gate.

Features in the past have included the tractor pull contest, a 27' tall inflatable slide, a gasoline powered train ride, inflatable joust,
inflatable bungee run, two moon bounces (each designated for different sized kids), face painting, and as always, lots of prizes.

For this year (and the last few years), the First Assembly of God have graciously assembled a team of volunteers from within their
church to organize and staff the children's activities.  In addition to their application, their volunteers also undergo a criminal
background check to further ensure the safety and peace of mind of those who want to come out.

Adult Games

The Esperanza Bonanza festival also hosts several adult games, which in the past have included a home run derby, wiffle ball
tournament and horseshoes tournament.

The adult games for this year will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011  The horseshoes tournament starts at 8:00 a.m. and the wiffle
ball tournament starts at 9:00 a.m.

Participant limit for wiffle ball has been reached for this year.  However, we're still taking entrants for horseshoes fill-ins.  If you're
interested, contact chairperson Micky Charlton at 901-355-3795
